All of us old fogies who like house, techno, trance, and breaks have basically been alienated. The promoters here wonder why their turnouts are so poor, even when I spell it out for them repeatedly. Here's a prime example:

However, this experience gave birth to a GREAT idea. Expect an announcement here for an event I'm going to do that I'm QUITE certain will appeal to old school ravers. It is my hope that at least some of them will come here from far and wide to be a part of it. It should be one for the history books.
If you like hardcore, this is one of the best places in the US to be, no doubt.

Click on the "Foursome" thread in the "Reviews" section (Under the "Electronic First" category). My review is on the 3rd page. I tried to list as many of the positives as I could think of as well. There is some information there specific to the promoter involved, and thus will have no relevance to anyone here, but there are many important essentials and this party (and its poor execution) is quite representative of the standards I currently have to observe here.
